Atlantic Hub Data Center Project is located at Foyle Port Innovation Park on the outskirts of Derry City, second largest city of N’Ireland, and fourth largest city of Ireland and at Letterkenny Technology Park in County Donegal, Republic of Ireland. The two campus sites are 35km apart.
The Campus site is served by three airports – City of Derry (10 mins), Belfast International (60 mins), & Belfast City Airport (80 mins)
City of Derry Airport serves the North West Region and has daily flights to London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Dublin
Belfast International Airport runs daily flights to New York, London, Paris & Amsterdam
Dublin Airport is a 150 mins drive and this route is serviced by regular bus and train services
Both Campus locations in Donegal and Derry offer ultra-low operational costs with ideal environ-mental conditions. With Data center locations only 35 km apart, Atlantic Hub offers a flexible design approach to permit the positioning of multiple buildings and dedicated Data Center Compounds with the option of ‘availability zoning’ between UK and EU.
Both Campus developments will be supplied with 100% certified green power and utilising all air evaporative cooling in a resilient N+1 arrangement to attain a PUE < 1.2.
Atlantic Hub is immediately adjacent to ESB POWER Coolkeeragh, a 400MW CCGT Power station
The combined-cycle gas turbine plant at Coolkeeragh was developed by Coolkeeragh ESB Ltd and commissioned in June 2005. The 400MW plant uses GE 9FA gas turbines and dry low-nox combustion for higher efficiency and reduced emissions
